What are the best toys ever? Couch cushions and sticks? Or more advanced toys like Barbie dolls and G.I. Joes?
Every year, 24 experts decide which toys to put into the Toy Hall of Fame. They choose toys that have survived through generations. They also look for toys that help kids discover, or toys that have changed the ways kids play. This year’s winners are green army men, the Rubik’s Cube, and bubbles.
These three toys are non-stop fun. You can take army men with you everywhere. They’re easy to replace, too. The Rubik’s Cube has inspired contests all over the world. (Someone once solved it in 5.55 seconds!) And kids have played with bubbles for more than 400 years.
