Have you ever been to an art museum? If you have, you probably know that people in the past wore different clothes than we do.

You can tell by the paintings of them. But guess whose clothes never change, even after hundreds of years? A dog’s!

Do you love dogs? If so, you might want to plan a visit to the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog. You’ll be able to see exhibits about champion dogs from competitions. You’ll read stories of service dogs who have done search-and-rescue work. And, of course, you’ll look at oodles of famous paintings, sculptures, and drawings of man’s best friend.

But the museum isn’t just full of art. It’s also full of barking, sniffing, and wagging tails. Guests are sometimes allowed to bring their dogs with them. After all, says the museum director, people are more likely than dogs to cause trouble in museums!
