Dinosaurs make us wonder. Scientists’ so-called answers sometimes make us wonder even more. When did dinosaurs really walk the Earth? Were they on the ark with Noah?

Sometimes these questions make people wonder still more. Is the Bible is true? Others never wonder about the Bible’s trustworthiness. But they still might not know how to answer when what scientists say doesn’t seem to match up.

Never fear! We can always turn to one basic truth. God created everything—all animals, even the dinosaurs. Many things about dinosaurs are mysteries to us. People study fossils. They study the layers of rock in the Earth. They try to understand. But real understanding takes a long time and a lot of wisdom. Sometimes we are right. Sometimes we are wrong. Only God knows exactly how and when everything came about. Believers know they can trust Him. They can rest peacefully—even when there are still unanswered questions.

One day, we will understand everything we need to know. The Bible says that “there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed.” (Luke 8:17 NIV) That could even apply to dinosaurs. All revealed mysteries will bring glory to God. Then we will marvel at what He has done. We may even say, “Wow, God! So that’s how you did it!”
