Snow is piled up so deep no one can drive on the roads. Winds blow so strong that families can’t leave their houses. That means one thing for you: NO SCHOOL! You might have different reasons for school cancelations depending on where you live—snow, hurricanes, tornados, sweltering heat, or bitter cold. Did you know that some kids in China get “air pollution days”?That’s right. The air in Beijing can get so dirty that it’s downright dangerous. Black soot from the air can get stuck in the lungs of anyone who breathes it. People used to think Beijing had the dirtiest air in the whole world. Now Beijing has a competitor: New Delhi, India. But “dirtiest air” isn’t the kind of contest anyone wants to win! Everything we have comes from God. That includes air. When we take care of the air God gave us, we are taking care of ourselves.
