You’re about to watch the making of history. Are you ready?

The New Horizons spacecraft started its voyage to the dwarf planet Pluto nine and a half years ago. On Tuesday, July 14, it will reach its destination and fly by Pluto, passing only about 7800 miles away.

Scientist Alan Stern says discoveries made on the voyage will knock your socks off. Machines will collect information about Pluto. What is it made of? How cold is it there? For the first time, clear and detailed Pluto photos will be sent to Earth. What do you think they will look like?
