Have you ever seen a funny shaped potato or a twisted carrot in the grocery store? Probably not very often! Food like that is usually thrown out, even though it’s good.
A charity called Feedback is trying to stop the waste.
More than 5,000 people lined up in Thessaloniki, Greece. Each got a plate of vegetable casserole from Feedback. It was made with food that would have been wasted. All together, the Grecians ate over two tons! Imagine all that food rotting in a dumpster instead!
Jesus once fed a crowd of 5,000. He didn’t call in wagonloads of food. He used just five loaves of bread and two fish. Bountiful food is part of God’s generosity. Have you thanked Him today?
