Pollyanna the yellow lab is more than friendly. She’s Don Chester’s best helper.Ten years ago, Mr. Chester was hit by a car. He was paralyzed from the chest down. When he came home from the hospital, Pollyanna came with him.Pollyanna can do more than your average dog. She’s been trained to turn on lights. She can open and close doors. She can go for help. She can retrieve things Mr. Chester can’t pick up himself. His house key even has a tassel attached so she can grab it with her mouth. But God gave us animals for more than their usefulness. They’re also great companions. Mr. Chester loves Pollyanna. Wouldn’t you?
