History is about to happen. Soon Princess Kate will come to St. Mary’s Hospital in London to deliver her second child. Look! Some people even sit outside the hospital and wait!

People all over the world love Princes Kate, Prince William, and their little boy Prince George. They want to know everything about the new baby. But guess what? Princess Kate and Prince William aren’t telling anybody much!

Right now, people just guess. Princess Kate wore a pink coat the last time she appeared in public. Does that mean the baby is a girl? Several women in royal British history had the name Alice. Many people have bet that the new royal baby will share the name.

The baby will be fourth in line to the English throne—boy or girl. Before 2013, little boys always got the throne first. But that rule changed. Now girls have an even chance at it. If the new baby is a girl, she will be closer to the throne than her little brother, if she ever has one.

Royal officials will use Twitter to announce the baby’s arrival. Stay tuned!
