This little piggy went to . . . the rescue shelter. So did hundreds of other little piggies. Now the shelters are all full! Why?
Many people decided they wanted teacup pigs for pets. Pig sellers promised the buyers the pigs would stop growing after a year – if the owners fed the pigs a certain diet. But the restricted diet doesn’t just keep the pigs small. Some veterinarians believe it makes them starve.
The hungry pigs kept looking for more food. Some dug through the trash or snuck into the pantry. They kept growing. Soon, they became too big for owners to keep.
The pig sellers’ promises didn’t hold up. But do you know whose promises never fail? God’s!
He has granted to us His precious and very great promises. – 2 Peter 1:4
