Did you read about the heatwave in India? Over a few weeks in May, more than 2,000 people died from extreme heat. They needed rain desperately. And now, finally, the rain has come.
During a monsoon, the direction of the wind changes. It brings rain to India from June through September. Farmers need the rain. When it comes, they can plant summer crops. The rain will also cool the air. Good thing! The people of India couldn’t wait any longer!
